Thailand - A Star in the East

It may seem odd in a Buddhist country like Thailand, but Christmas in Bangkok is a really big occassion. Christmas is celebrated not for its religious significance (only 1% of Thais are Christian) but because of the merry making, partying and commercial aspects involved with feasting and giving presents.
